Layrah Forman
I discovered yoga 10 years ago as a way to manage chronic pain, but I quickly realized there was something special about yoga. Yoga doesn't just heal the body—it supports the mind and spirit as well. Yoga improves my life in every way, and I’m passionate about helping make yoga accessible for everyone. It’s an honor to hold space for others on their yoga journey, even if only for one class.

Stephanie Coy
Stephanie Coy began doing yoga recreationally 25 years ago. It wasn't until she was faced with some extremely challenging, traumatic times that she turned to the yogic path as a way of life. Yoga brought the peace and strength she so desperately needed to endure those times, and it has since become the foundation of her life. She is a 200 RYT with a 40-hour trauma informed yoga certification, currently working to compete her 500 RYT. She identifies as a person in long term recovery from alcohol, substance use, and various mental health conditions, and yoga is her primary pathway to maintaining that recovery. Currently, she provides free yoga, meditation, and regular mindfulness and yoga-based community events to the substance use and mental health affected population in Louisville, Kentucky, and is very passionate about the power of the practice. While you never know what the class may entail for the week, she primarily leads slow flow vinyasa and yin-based practices. Whatever you have going on in your life, she will be the first to tell you, yoga fixes EVERYTHING!!!

About why she loves yoga and art - “Yoga and art have changed my life by embodiment. Both have penetrated my life and all of its layers in the most profound sense. Both have taught me to hold space for thousands on the road to embodiment through yoga, meditation and other methods of healing. I came into a deep meditation path through shamanic practices and learned that my art is my voice. These elements are experienced in both my physical (asana) and metaphysical (everything else) teachings and my everyday life.”

Christina Griswold
Hello I’m Christina Griswold! I love all kinds of flow arts, and my favorite flow prop is the hulahoop. Once at an event, I saw a woman with a led hoop and immediately knew that I wanted to do that. I've been hulahooping for years now, and even when life demands I take a break, I always make it back and consider it a lifelong practice. My experience with hooping has given me freedom, and I feel called to share what I have learned with others. I feel great joy sharing my hobby with others and watching them learn to love hooping as much as I do. I always wanted to be a part of an event like this and grow the community through flow arts. I am honored to participate and glad to have an opportunity to both teach and learn. I will be teaching a children’s hoop class and provide individual and group instruction during scheduled time at Bear’s Prop, Stop, and Flow Zone. Much love

Kelsey Sawyers
Nearly 4 years ago, I made the decision to step out into m back yard and look at the ‘weeds’ I was standing on. Not long after that my house was covered in those dried weeds! I took every opportunity to study every single plant the acre of land I lived on had to offer. From Broadleaf Plantain to Wild Lettuce and Chicory, I was steadily growing my apothecary and knowledge of plant medicine. Fast forward to current times, where ‘weeds’ are my whole life. I am constantly trying to providing whatever knowledge of plants I have to anyone willing to listen, I have grown into a small business focued on salves, make up removerd, tinctures, and teas. My favorite part of learning plant medicine is that there will always be something more to learn about.

Chris Rust
I’ve always been one to find and gather others for a good time, but for most of my life I lived numbed by drugs and alcohol. Determined to dance my way through difficult journeys, and the healing rhythm of fire flow, I found myself again. Dancing no longer under the influence of substance but rather to the primal whoosh of a flame. My purpose is to share that transformative power that empowered me to find my peace and joy. I strive to guide others in releasing worry and fear, discovering a sober presence in life, and joyful community within the Sacred Fire Circle. A tribe forged not in the dim haze of bars or the isolating hunger of addiction, but in the shared, primal pulse of Creation and Courage.
